Social Media Executive (Malaysia)

ROLES & RESPONSIBIITIES

Creative Ideation and Creation:

  • Concept Development: Generate innovative and engaging content ideas for various formats and platforms, tailored to specific pitches, retainers, and campaign requirements.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop content strategies that align with client goals and objectives, ensuring a cohesive narrative and effective audience engagement across all channels.
  • Creation: Write and produce high-quality content that resonates with target audiences, utilizing best practices for each platform (not limited to social media posts, blogs, videos, and graphics).
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong understanding of Brands and clients, understanding their needs and expectations to deliver tailored and impactful solutions.

Content Creation:

  • Multi-Format Content Creation: Produce a diverse range of content, including but not limited to written articles, social media posts, video scripts, infographics, and interactive media.
  • Pitches and Proposals: Create compelling content for client pitches, showcasing the creative vision and potential impact of proposed
    campaigns and strategies.
  • Retainers and Campaigns: Develop and maintain ongoing content for retainers, ensuring consistent delivery and alignment with client
    expectations. Execute campaign-specific content that drives engagement
    and meets defined KPIs.

Performance Analysis and Optimization:

  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyse content performance metrics, providing regular reports, insights and recommendations to inform strategy adjustments and optimize future content.
  • Feedback Integration: Gather and incorporate feedback from clients, team members, and audience interactions to continually refine and improve content quality and effectiveness.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience preferred
  • BA/BS – Social Media/Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Journalism, business administration or related field of study preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Strong command of spoken and written English with a flair for writing creative copy
  • Fanatical towards digital trends and usage of the different social networking sites
  • Possess a positive mindset and always ready to learn or try new things
  • Disciplined and results-oriented, always motivated to deliver better results
  • Ability to adapt style and tone of voice to suit a range of different clients and industries
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and campaign schedules
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Experience with campaign ad management
  • Experience with pre-production and can produce short-form videos independently
  • Experience with video editing with Adobe Premier is a plus
  • Proficient with photography and able to handle photography equipment is a plus
  • Experience working with Singapore clients is a plus
